Laura joined GLDS in 1993 with degrees in Business and Information Systems Management. Her 25+ years’ experience in business, software development, network engineering, and M.I.S. management has allowed Laura to exercise broad influence over company operations throughout the history of the company.
Garrick Russell
President, COO
Garrick joined GLDS in 2002 and has been responsible for the daily operations of the company since 2006. He has more than 25 years’ experience in billing, subscriber management, customer care and provisioning for major cable and telecommunications vendors such as AMDOCS, Alopa Networks, and Jacobs Rimell. Garrick has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and an MBA.
Saulius Vabalas
Vice President, Software Engineering
Saulius joined GLDS in 1998 and is the chief architect of the company’s primary platform. He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with more than 25 years’ of software engineering experience in utility, cable and broadband billing and provisioning software development. He came to GLDS from Lithuania’s National Electric Company and his expertise includes database design, IT and software security, PA-DSS, Linux, Windows Development and Data Center Operations.
Gina Linville
Director, Customer Success
Gina joined GLDS in 2017 following a 12-year broadband career as a GLDS customer. Gina has successfully led Customer Support, Technical Support, Sales and Engineering teams utilizing various GLDS products and tools bringing a broadband service provider’s perspective to the management team. Her goal is identifying and meeting the unique needs of each operator with whom we work. Gina has Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Marketing.
Kevin Kononchek
Director, Business Development
Kevin joined GLDS in 2013, with global responsibility for business development. He brings nearly ten years of telecommunications and broadband management experience, with an extensive focus on enterprise and commercial services. Kevin came to GLDS from Momentum Telecom, a leading broadband OSS and wholesale voice provider, where he served as National Sales Manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Spring Hill College.
Doug Ganske
Controller
Doug joined GLDS in 1988 initially providing skilled training and support of GLDS’ legacy billing and customer management platform. He soon transitioned into accounting and was responsible for initially automating GLDS’ financial records. Doug currently serves as GLDS’ Controller and oversees all accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, taxation and corporate and financial reporting. He has a bachelor’s degree in business with an additional emphasis in accounting.
Marco Ortiz
Customer Relationship Manager
Marco brings to GLDS over 15 years expertise in account management and sales with various SAAS platforms and Billing Management solutions. As an advocate for existing customers he’s incredibly passionate about helping them optimize efficiency and effectiveness so they can run a better business. Marco joined GLDS in 2015 and has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
Chris Spence
Director, Product Management
Chris joined GLDS in 2013 and has worn many hats, bringing value to GLDS teams, and broadband service providers alike. He is a visionary, constantly looking for ways to make our products better. He finds the pain points, and helps develop solutions to address them, striking a balance between meeting, and defining, industry requirements. He has a long history in the broadband industry’s with ties to Motorola and Comcast working as a member of their engineering teams.
