9/21/11 by BTR Staff  | GLDS plans to demonstrate its new workforce management platform, BroadHub Tech, at the Fiber To The Home Conference and Expo in Orlando Sept. 26-30.

The BroadHub Tech platform, which is integrated with GLDS’ WinCable billing and subscriber management system, is designed to give field technicians real-time access to assigned work, as well as customer and account details by putting WinCable tools on a hand-held device, such as a smartphone, tablet, netbook or laptop. The product requires only an Internet connection and is not dependent on any one platform.

Functions include:

• Receiving, managing and finalizing work
• Managing equipment assignments from truck to account and back
• Refreshing equipment individually or collectively at the account level
• Updating subscriber, house and equipment notes
• Collecting payments or managing auto-payments
• Changing bill-to address and updating contact information
