Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject or 2+ years’ experience in software testing

GLDS seeks a full-time Documentation / Tech Writer for a position in sunny San Diego County. The position is located at our Carlsbad offices and you must be available to work from that location – no remote relationships. Candidate will have significant experience with software documentation, preferably created in Microsoft Word and help files created with Help and Manual although the latter is not a requirement.  Experience creating end-user software user documentation is a must!

Goal?

To make sure GLDS’ most complex information is easily and clearly understood. The goal of the technical writer will be to break down the complexities of our products and how they work to get the readers (developers, support staff, management, and customers) on the same page. The mission? To make processes easy to understand and products a breeze to use. Clear instruction is vital. 

Duties Include:

• Develop, update, and maintain software and process documentation, and related help, files for our broadband billing, customer management and service delivery software.
• Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience that sets the readers up for success.
• Research, create, and maintain documentation style templates that uphold organizational standards, and allow for easy comprehension of the content.
• Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
• Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
• Maintain a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation.
• Work collaboratively with all departments, but primarily between development and support, to ensure clear, accurate documentation of product functionality, development processes, and implementation processes.

• Writing code for primary application
• Preparing application for live environment

We’re looking to add an experienced SQL Developer who will enjoy a small, casual, high-productivity environment in Kaunas, Lithuania.  Candidate must be experienced with the complete software development life cycle from requirements development to coding, to testing, to documentation and QA, while working with Relational Databases. You will work with development teams building new and modifying existing enterprise systems based on Firebird SQL server and a variety of front-ends including PHP, JS, Delphi, C++ and etc. You will also be able to contribute to developing and refining internal database development frameworks and standards.

Duties include: Software development, maintenance, and enhancement of billing and subscriber management applications, including web-enabled customer self-care, audio response technologies, equipment control, credit card processing, workforce management, SaaS development, and much more. Software is deployed on both Windows and Linux platforms. Daily activities also to include:

• Developing Business Logic
• Writing, documenting, modifying, improving and troubleshooting: SQL statements, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Database schemas

We’re looking for an entry-level Regional Sales Associate for our Birmingham, Alabama office; someone who presents themselves professionally both in-person and over the phone. Smart, tech-minded and a solid work ethic are important. You’ll work closely with our Director of Business Development to turn over rocks and look for opportunities to solve customer problems with GLDS software and solutions. Expect heavy research and customer outreach – phone and email. This is NOT a call center where the more people you call the better your results. You’ll invest time in researching companies and contacts, identifying opportunities, and you’ll be smart about your engagements.

Duties Include:

• Discover, research, and cultivate new opportunities and determine candidacy for GLDS suite of products and services throughout North America.
