The NCTC’s new partnership with TiVo will allow NCTC members to offer their end customers a best-in-class user experience where members may not have been unable to do so otherwise. The new NCTC offering, operating under the federated brand VU-IT!, aggregates and streamlines many of the back office and operational functions allowing for reduced upfront integration costs and annual support fees as well as lower license fee rates. Laura Freeman, Hudson Hub-Times – Velocity Broadband, the city’s Internet utility, is moving faster than expected, and city officials asked for Council to approve two resolutions Oct. 6 to meet the increasing demand.

Alianza has integrated its Cloud Voice Platform with GLDS’ WinCable. The combined solution is designed to provide a voice service delivery solution and back-office functions, including account creation, number activation, billing, and customer care.

BTR Staff, BTR | The city of Longmont, CO, has signed a long-term deal with GLDS for its back office solutions. The deployment includes GLDS’ WinCable subscriber management and billing system, Super Controller provisioning platform, and WinForce Tech workforce management. Longmont is launching a GPON-based municipal voice and data network designed to provide data speeds of up to 1 Gbps. Longmont Power & Communications will operate the network. Construction began in August. More
